This quality polo commemorates the brave crews who took part in the innovatory attack on the Italian Fleet in the Battle of Taranto. Success at Taranto changed the balance of power in the Mediterranean, greatly assisted the North African Campaign and provided the blue print for the Japanese to attack at Pearl Harbour. It also started the decline in importance of the capital ship as the aircraft carrier rose to the ascendant. By any assessment this was a history changing victory accomplished by heroic airmen in outdated aircraft.
To mark the 80th anniversary of this historic achievement, we have commissioned a very special shirt. Above the Navy Wings logo on the right sleeve is the 'Limited Edition 80' motif. The dramatic chest motif has Taranto 80 in the scroll and the left sleeve has the proud profile of a Fairey Swordfish above the legend 'To the men of Taranto'.
Only 80 of these very special commemorative shirts will be made.

If, for whatever reason, you need to return an item to us, it must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
