International code flags are used to signal between two ships or between ship and shore. They are a set of ship flags of different colours, shapes and markings that have different meanings when used singly or in combination.
- Yellow with black circle: India. Altering course to port.
- White with red diamond: Foxtrot. Disabled.
- Blue with a white square: Papa. About to sail.
- Yellow and red: Oscar. Man overboard.
