The Sea Harrier

The Sea Harrier has become a British icon for ground breaking engineering and performance. It has an enviable service record through numerous conflicts and it always shone wherever it served and under whatever flag. Perhaps most remembered for an outstanding contribution during the Falklands War, but also in the Middle East and the Balkans.

The surround of this dramatic mirror is made from part of the air duct stator assembly of the Sea Harrier's vectored thrust system.

The Sea Fury

The Hawker Sea Fury is a British fighter aircraft that holds a significant place in aviation history. Developed by Hawker Aircraft during the latter stages of World War II, the Sea Fury was designed as a carrier-based fighter for the Royal Navy. It was one of the fastest piston-engine aircraft ever built.

The Sea Fury's development began as an improvement over the Hawker Tempest. It was powered by the Bristol Centaurus engine, a complex powerplant that contributed to its impressive speed and climb rate. 

In addition to its combat prowess, the Sea Fury was also known for its versatility. It could be equipped with a variety of armaments, including rockets, bombs and cannons, making it suitable for a range of missions from ground attack to air superiority. The aircraft's robust construction and high performance made it a favourite among pilots.

This dramatic mirror is made of the aluminium alloy diffuser vane ring from the supercharger assembly.
