The Hawker Sea Hawk was widely regarded as both beautiful on the eye and also a joy to fly. Part of the transitional phase of rapid development of early jet aircraft, like many aircraft of the time, it had a relatively short service life. It saw action during the Suez crisis where it acquitted itself well in the ground attack role, but was eventually replaced by the Supermarine Scimitar. This model is in the livery of the highly respected and much missed Red Devils display team.
