The Seahawk was widely regarded as being the epitome of the assertion that 'if it looks right, it'll fly right'. A beautiful and compact fighter aircraft but, due to rapid technical advances during this period, it had a relatively short service life.
WV908 was restored to flight in 1978 and was displayed by the Royal Navy Historic Flight. It is now, once again, undergoing restoration to flight in the Navy Wings Heritage Flight hangar.
