The range now includes:

the Fairey Swordfish Mk.I W5856 and Mk.II LS326, both of which are situated in our hangar at the Navy Wings Heritage Centre. These models feature a length of 37cm and a wingspan of 46cm, at a scale of 1/27 from the actual aircraft.

The elegant Supermarine Seafire MkIIIC (880 Sqn HMS Implacable 1945) is 1/28 scale and has a wingspan of 48.3cm. 

Other models available: Westland Sea King (SAR, Jungly and Rescue), de Havilland Sea Vixen (our own XP924), Hawker Sea Fury T20, Agusta Merlin, Blackburn Buccaneer and Royal Navy Canberra. These wooden models are individually hand made and complete with the tiniest details of equipment and livery.

Superb quality and a great addition to any home.

 

NB Remaining Sea Vixen models have a plain canopy, rather than the clear canopy illustrated.

Sea Vixen Model.

Hi, I was completely taken aback by the size of the model & also it's lightness. The colour scheme is immaculate, including a lot of the do not walk areas on the fuselage. I absolutely love this model & can't recommend it highly enough.The cockpit & 'coal hole' details are stunning, including all the instrument panels & even the ejection seat pull handles. If you are a fan of British Naval aircraft, this is a must for you collection.

Seafire, wheels down.

I'm really pleased with this model. The detail is amazing. The colours are excellent, with the British Pacific Fleet markings. The cockpit details were a real surprise. It's a really big model too, with an 18 inch wingspan, so make sure you have plenty of space to display it. If you are a Royal Navy or Fleet Air Arm fan (or both) this is a superb model to purchase. I highly recommend it.

It’s a rare piece

I’ve been looking for a Seafire for ages. I was really pleased to finally come across a detailed model. For the money though, I would have hoped for more moving parts such as the cockpit, undercarriage and hook. Maybe even poseable on the stand. That said, I’m still happy with my purchase as the rarity gives it its value.
