Aviation72 Premium Range AV7253003 replicates in 1/72 scale the de Havilland DH.110 Sea Vixen FAW.2 s/n XP924, civil registration G-CVIX. In the colour scheme, worn while with No.899 Naval Air Squadron (No.899 NAS), Fleet Air Arm (FAA), Royal Navy (RN), owned by the Fly Navy Heritage Trust.

Sea Vixen XP924

It was built as an FAW.2 (Fighter All Weather) and delivered to No.899 NAS on December 18, 1963. It retired from frontline services and converted to a D.3 (Drone) in August 1971.

In 1991, it passed to private ownership and was gifted to the Fly Navy Heritage Trust in 2014. In May 2017, a gear-up landing caused significant damage. Unable to afford the repairs, it is now stored indefinitely.
